At AWRA (Trivedi, 1962, p. 19) a drain made of terracotta pipes joins the top of a ring-well, while at RAIRH pottery drains are found in the vicinity of the ring-wells. At the latter site brick wells are found around a cluster of ring-wells. At HASTINĀPURA, RAIRH and Taxila (Marshall, 1951, pp. 94-5) large-sized jars with perforated bases and telescoped into one another have been found close to the ring-wells.
