The Chalcolithic culture of KAKORIA is characterized by Megalithic monuments [4.17.3]. The tombs—cairn circles, cists and cists within cairn circles—are located at the foot of the HATHINIA and BHADAHAWAN hillocks. Out of hundreds, 12 monuments, which have been excavated, have yielded sherds of the red, black-slipped and black-and-red wares, identical in shape and fabric with their counterparts of the habitation area located at KAKORIA. Among the other antiquities obtained from the burials mention may be made of a gold bangle, microliths and jaw and teeth of the bovid.
