As the culture is characterized by the short blade industry of the crested-ridge technique and the ceramic assemblage compares well with its counterpart of Pd II of ATRANJIKHERA, Pd I A of SONPUR and Pd II A of CHIRAND, a time bracket ranging from the later half of the 2nd millennium to the early centuries of the Ist millennium B.C. may be tentatively proposed for it. A ¹⁴C date of 3390±120 B.P. for the Chalcolithic horizon of KOLDIHAWA has been obtained recently. The other end of the chronological scale is marked by the advent of iron.
