Black-and-red ware is the dominant ceramic tradition, with which are associated red and black wares of thin and thick fabric and lustrous red and chocolate wares. However the earliest levels of PANDU RAJAR DHIBI has a handmade grey ware of thick fabric with impressions of paddy husk, wheel-turned ware, often rusticated, and a kind of pale red ware, in addition to black-and-red wares. A kind of grey ware is associated with the black-and-red ware at NANOOR and HARAIPUR.
