The Megalithic sites of Dt Banda seem to represent the s.ward extension of the Kotia culture. They also indicate the possibility that the two megalithic types—cairn cist and unicameral and multicameral cists without cairn—might have been associated with two groups of people within the same culture complex. There are only cairn cists at Kalwaliya Maholiya and cists without cairn at Zirah. Pottery from both the sites appears to be the same and resembles that of KOTIA.
