Among the habitation areas excavated so far, the one at KAKORIA revealed a two-room mud structure. Other finds include microliths, ill-fired red pottery, beads of stone and terracotta, sling-stone and copper ring. The habitations of the other two excavated sites yielded only pottery. Since none of the habitations is large, the megalith builders of s. Uttar Pradesh should be presumed to have lived in small groups only. Their economy might not have been very different from that of the tribals.
