Although glass bangles are reported from a late PGW level of HASTINĀPURA, interesting evidence comes from the early levels of ŚRĀVASTĪ datable to 600-300 B.C., when bangles, exclusively of green and blue glass, are found in large numbers. Green glass was used mainly for bracelets. They have close parallels at Taxila—another significant example of trade contacts between the two centres.
