PANDU RAJAR DHIBI is another site in Dt Burdwan which shows traces of prehistoric and early historic settlements. Published notices of the excavation at this site give a confused picture of the cultural sequence, as terracotta heads, the NBPW(?) and microliths have been reported from the same level. MANGOLKOT is another important site in the same Dt, which yields from time to time terracottas and pottery of the Śuṅga-Kushan age from the surface.
