Stone artefacts include polished stone axes made of the Himalayan trap, celts having a flat rectangular cross-section, with the body bent longitudinally and straight cutting edge, bead-shaped mace-heads having an hourglass cross-section, shoe-last type, double-edged picks, perforated picks, double-edged points, perforated harvesters, polishers, pounders, and chisels. The stone tools are typologically different from those of the peninsular Neolithic complex [4.6.7-10]. Further they show a tendency towards an increasing frequency in the later phase.
