Bone tools are distinctive of the culture. They are highly polished with sharp working edges. Typologically they may be classified into short daggers, points of different sizes, awls, antimony rods [18.1], polishers or scrapers, chisels, needles with eye [6.15], serrated tools, harpoons, etc. Again in the Late Phase bone tools are better manufactured and more polished than those of the Early Phase. Scrapers with broad butt are also made of animal horns. In the upper levels of the Late Phase a copper arrowhead and a coil have been found; these are the only metal objects in the otherwise metal-less Neolithic of Kashmir region.
