SARUTARU was excavated by the Dibrugarh Univ. during 1969-72. This too is a single-culture site of 60 cm depth, with stone tools, pottery and charcoal. The dominant tool type and pottery are the shouldered celt and cord-marked ware, comparable with those of DAOJALI HADING. (Rao, 1973).
