Situated on a hillock on the left bank of the Rongram in Garo Hills, SELBALGIRI, with tools and pottery exposed as a result of erosion, was limitedly excavated by the Gauhati Univ. While the lowest layer yielded microliths and pottery, the upper two, 42 cm thick, yielded both ground and chipped stone axes, small flakes, cores, hammers and pottery (*IAR*, 1967-68).
