The excavated sites show a medium degree of rural culture. The LAL QILA pottery is well-fired (which goes against the very definition of OCW) and well-decorated with incised designs, graffiti and paintings in black pigment over a smooth red-slipped surface, showing a degree of sophistication (Gaur, 1974, p. 54). There are well-preserved floors with post-holes, plaster fragments and even brickbats, unbaked and baked. Among the other antiquities are terracotta objects including human figurines, bangles and beads and stone and bone objects. Not much is reported on JODHPURA, the only significant mention being that of bits of copper.
