In Gujarat there is another site, SURKOTADA, which is fairly well-dated. Of the nine dates available, one is rather unusually high, being 2315±135 (uncorrected), but the others give a fairly consistent picture. These place the earlier sub-pd (I A) around 2055±100 (=M 2480±110) and the latest around 1660±110 (=M 2020-2040±120).
