The OCW from Ambkheri while sharing the fabric of the corresponding pottery from ATRANJIKHERA, BAHADRABAD and SAIPAI differs from it in form. On the other hand the assemblage shows certain affinities with the late Harappa [4.10] material of the upper Ganga-Yamuna doab and e. Punjab. All this may indicate only contemporaneity of the two cultures or culture contact and nothing more. —K.N. DIKSHIT
