**Chandavaram**², Dt Prakasam. Buddhist site with sculptures carved in the AMARAVATI idiom situated on the right bank of the Gundlakamma river. Many *stūpas* and adjoining *vihāras* were also found. An inscription in Brāhmī characters of the 2nd century A.D. and sherds of the Black-and-red Ware [11.15.3] red-slipped wares were also noticed.
