**Datarti,** Dt Dhule. A crude handaxe [4.2] was found on a consolidated gravel of the Panjhara. Artefacts ascribable to a stage succeeding the Middle Stone Age (Middle Palaeolithic [4.3]) but preceding the Late Stone Age (Mesolithic [4.5]) were also discovered.
