**Goswamikhanda**, Dt Burdwan. Excavation laid bare a massive structure of laterite blocks showing different phases of repairs. The last structural phase yielded fragments of Brāhmaṇical images assignable to about the 10 century. Earlier microliths and flakes had been found at the site. *IAR 1961-2*; *1963-4*.
