**Sannarasamma hill,** Dt Kurnool. A large number of Neolithic tools [4.6.8] were collected from the top of the hill, near SANGANAKALLU, about 5 km n.-e. of Bellary. The collection included a few new types of Neolithic celts along with axe-like cores bearing a superficial resemblance to Acheulian handaxes [4.2]. The importance of this discovery lies in the fact that such cores are found at the flint factory sites at Sukhur and Rohri in Sind.
