The Neolithic assemblage from Budidapadu, Gundam, Karpakala, Kudavalli, Malleswaram, SATANIKOTA and Velaturu include ground and polished stone axes, hammers, mace-heads and pounders on trap. Excavation at Virapuram has revealed in its early level a late Neolithic phase with ground axes, pottery and child burial.
