**Avassaya bhāsa** (Avaśyakabhāṣya) A verse-fed commentary on Avassaya nijjutti For Āvassaya there are three bhāṣyas one of them is known as Mūla bhāṣya and the other is a Bhāṣya and Viśeṣavaśyaka bhāṣya The first of the three viz Viśeṣavaśyaka bhāṣya is on the niryukti commentary on the first section of Avassaya viz Sāmāiya only ² It is commented upon by the author Jinabhadra himself but the commentary remained incomplete and it was completed by Kottaya The other two commentaries are by Kotyacarya and Maladhari Hemacandra
