[Bhagavadyānaparvan] (“the section relating to the journey of Kṛṣṇa,” the 62nd of the minor parvans of Mhbr.; cf. Bhagavadyāna). § 562: Yudhīṣṭhira sent to Kṛṣṇa about the mission of Sañjaya at the court of Duryodhana and Dhṛtarāṣṭra; they [the Pāṇḍavas] and the Kācis, etc. (a), he asked for peace, etc. (β), or towns, and complained of the kṣattriya order. Kṛṣṇa set out for the Kuru court in order to negotiate, after some hesitation, as he mentioned the offence, and thought war to be inevitable.
