11. *sosānikaṅgaṃ* = to live in a cemetery. Buddhaghosa in explaining what is a suitable cemetery says that it must not be one used by the people of a village but one left unused for at least twelve years, but from the other conditions mentioned by Buddhaghosa (see *Vism.*, p. 77) it seems that he had in mind not a quite unfrequented cemetery;
