(36) Jāteṣṭi-nyāya—treated by Jaimini under Mī. Sū. 4.3. 38-39; where, in regard to the Sacrifice offered on the birth of a son, the question is raised whether the reward thereof accrues to the Father or the Son, and the conclusion arrived at is that it accrues to the Son. It is used in the Commentary on Lakṣaṇāvalī.
