⁴ *.....adhiṣṭhānam vikalpākārasya vā alīkasya bāhyatvam anumāna-go-caro... V. thinks that alīkabāhyatram and vikalpākāratvam refer to two different ideas (matāntaram), the first refers to an objectivized image, the second, as is seen from the sequel, — to a dialectical superstructure, having indirect reality.*
