The text recommends the use of Aṅkola oil as an important manuring agent. The huskless seeds of Aṅkola are to be pounded and soaked seven times in sesamum oil. Then they are to be rubbed with hot water and the oil expressed by the oil-machine. Another method is to plaster two bell-metal plates with this paste and place them in the sun facing each other. The oil dripping from them is to be collected in another bell-metal vessel placed beneath them (verses 112-114).
