In this chapter, we would record the Taxilian achievements related to stonecraft, bead-making, various gems and minerals, gold, silver, copper, alloys of non-ferrous metals and finally iron implements. The data (Young; Ghosh; Marshall) would show sustained and continuous indigenization of foreign influences in Taxila; the exports of raw materials, finished goods and ideas, often equalled and sometimes surpassed in quality the corresponding imports from outside the sub-continent.
