Another iron pillar, probably belonging to the fifteenth century AD, is that in the temple of Acaleśwar on Mount Abu in Rajasthan. It is 12' 9" high with a Śaiva trident on its top. This one as well as the Dhar pillar are made of wrought iron. The foregoing achievements amply illustrate how skilful and imaginative were the metalsmiths in India.
