*Kāsīsa* (ferrous sulphate) could be of two varieties: *puṣpakāsīsa*, which imparts black colour to hair and removes pimples (*vraṇaghna*), and *bālukākāsīsa* which looks like *aguru-dhuma* and is either alkaline or acidic in solution.
