ICHNOCARPUS FRUTESCENS. *Sans.* सारिवा, *Sárivá*. *Vern.* *Shyámalatá*. The properties of the roots of this plant are said to be identical with those of *Hemidesmus Indicus*. These two drugs are often used in combination under the designation of *Sárivádvaya*, (see next article).
