∗ Roxburgh gives ambuvetasa as the sanskrit for Calamus fasciculatus, but ambuvetasa means rattan growing in water, while Calamus fasciculatus grows in woods and not in marshes. The translation is therefore doubtful. I have not been able to procure the plant.
