p.13.l.14—Haritasamhita is in the form of a dialogue between the sage Ātreya and his son and pupil Hārīta. The printed text consists of 6 sthānas. The original Haritasamhita was known to Cakrapāṇi, Vijayarakṣita, Śrīkaṇṭhadatta, Śivadāsa and Tiṣaṭa. Passages from the same are quoted in their works as well as in Jvarasamuccaya and Toḍarānanda. These quotations are not found in the printed text which shows that it is different from its genuine form. cf. Dietz, *Annals of Medicine*, p. 159, BBRAS Cata. No. 164; S. N.
