'Abdul Qādir, the author of the *Tārīkhi-Badā'ūnī*, to help Naqīb in his work. In three or four months, two out of the eighteen sections of the work were translated. Mullā Sherī and Naqīb Khān then accomplished another portion, while Sulṭān Ḥājī Thāneswarī did also some other portion. Shaikh Faizī was directed to translate the rough translation into prose and verse, but he did not finish more than two sections. Ḥājī then revised Faizī’s work, but was dismissed before he finished a hundred sheets.
