HEMĀDRI wrote a commentary called *ĀYURVEDARASĀYANA*,¹⁶⁵ which probably covered the whole of the *Aṣṭāṅgahṛdayasaṃhitā*.¹⁶⁶ The preserved parts contain the commentary on the *Sūtrasthāna*, *Nidānasthāna* 1–5 and 6.24cd–39, *Cikitsitasthāna* 1–6 and 7.100–115, and the *Kalpasthāna*.¹⁶⁷
