v3.c48.s2.2

The fact that the Ānandakanda contains material that is also found in the Rasārṇava and Rasendracūḍāmaṇi, two works which are original compositions of their authors, implies that it is probably posterior to the twelfth or thirteenth century. 232 The references to Gorakṣa and Mīnānātha are in agreement with this upper limit. The same applies to the employment of the term gañjā in the vijayākalpa. 233 The resemblances between parts of the Ānandakanda and Nityanātha’s Rasaratnākara are unsuitable to chronological purposes since the latter work is based on earlier sources. 234
