A. Krishnaswamy (1941a: 108) refers to the *Liṅgapurāṇa*, where Agniveśa and Śālihotra are said to have studied with the same teacher in the Naimiṣāraṇya (see *Liṅgapurāṇa*, ed. 1980, I.24.113, where Śālihotra and Agniveśa are pupils of Śiva).
