55 I.e, Rāvaṇa. Laṅkeśa is also one of the Rasasiddhas in the Pāradasamhitā (1.96), Rasajalanidhi (III, 389–390), Rasataraṅgiṇī (1.29–32), and Rasendrasambhava (introductory verses); Laṅkā is a Rasasiddha in the second list of the Rasaratnasamuccaya (6.53); his name is replaced by Loka in the Rasaratnākara (III.1.66–70). A Laṅkeśasiddhānta is recorded in the Kavīndrācāryasūcipatram (Nr. 977). Noteworthy is the fact that Rāvaṇa's daughters are the wives of the eighteen Tamil Cittars in Kampaṇ's Irāmāvatāram (see D.G. White, 1996: 58, 125).
