The colophon at the first section of the *Varṣaphaṇi* in GOML Madras D 13491 reads: *ity agastyasaṃhitāyāṃ pariveṣakramaḥ*. And an *Agastyapaṭala* is quoted in the *Kautukacintāmaṇi* of Rāma, as is Agastya by Śivarāja (*fl.* 1400-1480) in his *Jyotirnibandha*.
