AGNIKEŚA (=AGNIVEŚA?) (before *ca.* 750) This author is quoted by Kalyāṇavarman (*Sārāvalī* 54, 11-12). He should be dated then before *ca.* 750 A.D. If the reading Agniveśa is correct, then he is the famous pupil of Ātreya and authority in Āyurveda.
