The son of Vatsarāja, the son of Govinda, the son of Lakṣmīdhara, the son of Ananta, the son of Dhārigadeva Maḍoḍa, Acala, an Ābhyantaranāgara Brāhmaṇa residing at Vṛddhanagara in Gujarāt and a pupil of Vināyaka Bhaṭṭa, completed his *Nirṇayadīpaka* on 12 kṛṣṇapakṣa of Jyeṣṭha in Saṃ. 1575 = ca. 5 June 1518.
