(1) कुल is not found in B.
(2) स जयति श्रीमदनरथ, a variant in B.
(3) C reads सकलमङ्गलाचारा.
(4) Of the latter half C has only परं सहेतुः.
(5) C reads चतुर्वर्णम्लेच्छादिव्यदात्वब्धसत्वाभम्, which seems to be incorrect. Cf. Patala I., in which the following verse is given :—किरातगोपादिकतापसाद्यवनेचरास्तत्कुशलस्थान्ये । विदंति नानाविधभेषजानां प्रमाणवर्णाकृतिनामजातीः ॥
(6) दत्तमम्बुरस गृहीत्वा is the incorrect reading in C. [In the case of किरातनाथ रसाः गृहीताः i. e. collected रसs—mercury, minerals &c. and दक्षिण is favorable ; and in the case of आदिवाह रसा गृहीता i. e. lifted up the earth.]
