(1) A reads जीर्णं तु. B reads जीर्णं हि.
(2) द्रुतहेमनिभसूतौ, a variant in A, which seems to be incorrect.
(3) A has जरति लोहानि सत्वानि. B has रञ्जयति लोहानि सर्वाणि. Both the readings have defective metre.
(4) This verse is found in A after the verse तारक-दरदशिलाभिः &c. (vide ante pp. 28—29) and runs thus :— पत्रादष्टगुणं दत्वा सत्त्वादष्टगुणं धृति । धुतेरष्टगुणं बीजं तस्माद्वीजं तु जारयेत् ॥
