To prepare a bibliography of ancient Sanskrit manuscripts dealing with astronomy and mathematics with all necessary details such as have been attempted in this work, is really a very difficult undertaking, as it requires a knowledge of Sanskrit as well as mathematics and astronomy. Sri S. N. Sen and his two research assistants deserve our thanks for the able manner in which they have accomplished their task.
