Even the Western scholars and missionaries started preparing new texts in Sanskrit. Revd William Yate’s *Elements of Natural Philosophy and Natural History* was rendered into Sanskrit under the title *Padārthavidyāsāra* and was published by the Calcutta School Book Society in 1828.²²
