Padmanābha Miśra wrote *Kaṇādarahasyam*, an exposition of *Vaiśeṣikasūtras* of Kaṇāda in vs 1640 (ce 1583). He discussed the prima facie views of other systems and refuted them according to the theories of the Vaiśeṣika system.¹⁹⁶
