5.21

yathā vā-
na svīkṛtā sakhi mayā srag ihāsti kaundī
kiṃ dīrgha-roṣa-vikaṭāṃ bhru-kuṭīṃ tanoṣi |
kṣipteyam atra mama maṇḍana-peṭikāyāṃ
ced vṛndayā caṭulayā kim ahaṃ kariṣye //

Or as in:
“Friend, I have not accepted a garland of jasmine here;
why do you spread a terrifying frown of prolonged anger?
If this was tossed into my jewellery box
by the fickle Vṛndā, what can I do?”
