As in:
Placing her left hand on her hip, its bracelet resting motionless on the wrist,
letting the second hang down loose like the branch of a śyāmā vine,
casting her eyes down upon the mosaic pavement where her big toe stirred the blossoms,
her posture, after dancing, was exceedingly lovely, with the upper half [of her body] straight and erect.

atra pādāṅguṣṭhena kusuma-lolanādi-kriyāṇāṃ nṛttānta-pariśrāntāv api cārutvān[*4] mādhuryam |
[*4] Note that cārutā, as found in Ujjvala-nīlamaṇi, is the word used here in the place of mārdava.
Here, there is sweet charm (mādhurya) because actions such as stirring the flowers with her big toe remain charming even though she is exhausted at the conclusion of the dance.
