atha sutīgṛhadiśā |
meṣakulīratulālighataiḥ praguttarate gurusaumyagṛheṣu |
paścimataśca vṛṣeṇa nivāso dakṣiṇabhāgakarau mṛgasiṃhau ||

Now, the direction of the lying-in chamber:
By Aries, Cancer, Libra, Scorpio, and Aquarius, it is in the east; by the signs of Jupiter and Mercury, in the north; / by Taurus, the dwelling is in the west; and Capricorn and Leo indicate the southern direction.
