sthāna anyathā etāni sa varṇayitvā sarvāṇy adhaś cheda vivarjitāni/
daśa abda piṇḍe guṇakā yathā aṃśaṃ chedas tad aikyena daśa aprabhedaḥ//(indravajrā)

Having converted these varied positions to a common denominator, all freed from fractions below,
the multipliers in the sum of the years of the planetary period are according to their shares; the divisor is their sum; thus is the division of the sub-period.
