bhadraṃ pi karato pāpaṃ yāva bhadraṃ na paccati |
atha payirāgate kāle bhadro bhadrāṇi paśśati ||

Even to one doing good, [there is] evil as long as good fortune does not ripen;
then, when the time has arrived, the good person sees good things.
